What we keep
Your table: the hand histories you upload, the hands and grades made from them, your chats with the coaches, and the email you sign in with. We do not sell any of it, and we use it only to run sharkplay.
Who processes it
- AWS hosts sharkplay and stores your table (United States, Ohio).
- OpenRouter and OpenAI run the coaches: your messages, the hands you ask about and the engine’s results for them are sent with each question. They are not used to train models; OpenAI may keep them for a limited time to detect abuse.
- Anthropic runs Tex’s reads of the spots the solver can’t answer (the spot only: positions, stacks, cards and actions), and the coaches when we switch back to its model.
- Google, when you sign in with Google: your name and email.
- Google Analytics, to count visits to sharkplay: which pages are opened (never what is on your table or in your chats), your browser, device, rough location and the site you came from.
Cookies and tracking
The cookies sharkplay needs to work: one keeps you signed in or holds your table before you sign in, one carries the Google sign-in step, and one counts your vote on a shared hand when you have no account. Google Analytics also sets its own cookies to count visits; you can block them in your browser or with Google’s opt-out add-on. No advertising trackers.
Deleting your data
Write to privacy@sharkplay.org from the email you sign in with, and we delete your table and account.
